OVERVIEW
Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world and it is a privilege ppracticing Kayak in it.
Lake Titicaca is home to a variety of fauna like birds (such as diving bird, choka, tikicho, flamingos and ducks) and the famous giant frog of Titicaca, which is the biggest aquatic amphibian on the planet.
In the lake there are cultures that keep their ancestral practices, such as the floating islands of Uros, whose took advantage of the lake's flora to build their islands. In similar way population of Taquile Island have the most representative textile art that symbolize their customes and daily lives.

Live the incredible experience of navigating the untamed waters of the highest navigable lake in the world aboard a kayak.
The tour will begin with our team picking up our passengers from their hotels (Puno downtown) to transfer them to the bay of Isla Esteves, where the guide will give instructions about the use of kayak equipment. During the kayak tour to the floating Uros Island, you will observe the beautiful landscape, variety of birds and the Foroba Island, (popularly named Devil's Island).
Upon reaching to the floating Uros Island, the guide will provide information about the local lifestyle, history, construction of the islands and other structures made of totora; then you will have free time to explore the Island.
Continuing with the tour, we will board a boat to Taquile Island, where we will take a walk and during the road we will appreciate the beautiful view of the Incas' lake, the Andes Mountains and the characteristic stone arches. Then we will enjoy an exquisite typical lunch.
Finally, we will return to the Puno's port, and we will transfer you to your hotel.
