We begin at the iconic Plaza de Armas of Cusco, the vibrant heart of the city, where you will admire the impressive Cusco Cathedral, home to valuable colonial artworks. We then visit the legendary Qorikancha, the Temple of the Sun, regarded as the finest example of Inca engineering and architecture, where original Inca stone foundations blend remarkably with colonial structures.
The experience continues to the remarkable archaeological sites located just outside the city. You will explore Sacsayhuamán, known for its massive stone walls, Qenqo, an important ceremonial center, Puca Pucara, an ancient strategic fortress, and Tambomachay, often referred to as the Temple of Water.
