TOURIST PACKAGE SALAR DE UYUNI - LAKE TITICACA

DAY 1: JULIACA AIRPORT - PUNO.

Reception at the airport or bus station to take you to Puno, overnight at the chosen hotel in the city of Puno.

DAY 2: FLOATING ISLANDS OF THE UROS & ISLAND AMANTANÍ.

Between at 7:40 – 08:00 a.m. our staff pick passengers up from downtown hotel and take you to the port of Titicaca Lake, and head to Uros Island. (25 minutes trip by boat) on the way to the Uros Floating Island, we will visit 2 Island of Uros, then we continue with our trip to Amantani Island, reaching to the island about 1:00 p.m. approximately, where the families will wait for us, walk (30 min uphill) to local houses in Amantani Island, we’ll take our typical lunch and we’ll have time for resting and settle in the rooms; then we’ll walk to the top of the island and see the ceremonial Inca temples (Pachamama and Pachatata). After that we return to the local houses for dinner, and at night we go to dance with the local families (the party is optional).

DAY 3: ISLAND AMANTANI – TAQUILE - PUNO

Early in the morning breakfast with families. After, we descend to the port of Amantani (8:00 a.m.) to take our boat towards to Taquile Island, known as “The best and beautiful Island of the world”. There, we’ll uphill to the top or the main square of the Taquile, then we have lunch and return to the port of Amantani (1:00 pm.) to return to Puno averaging arrive at 4:00 pm.

DAY 4: PUNO - LA PAZ - UYUNI.

After breakfast transfer to the bus terminal. Before boarding, they must present their passport and exit to La Paz, carrying out the immigration procedures at the Peru-Bolivia border, of both countries for control and verification.

Then, we will continue with our trip to the city of La Paz 2 hours and 30 minutes we will arrive to La Paz. In the evening we will continue the trip to the Salar de Uyuni.

DAY 5: TOUR UYUNI - BUS UYUNI - LA PAZ.

Upon arrival in Uyuni, reception by our local operator who will give you the detailed information of the tour and breakfast (on your own). The Salar de Uyuni tour starts at 10:30 a.m. visiting the train cemetery where we will appreciate an open-air historical museum of the locomotives that many years ago gave life to the town of Uyuni.

Visit the salt flat of Uyuni, the beautiful landscape and the mirror of water does not stop surprising all the tour, first for it is in Colchani, where the population works the salt and during the visit it will show us the micro-factory of saltpeter refining, we will appreciate mounds and blocks of salt. We will also visit the market where crafts made with salt are sold.

Lunch at the salt museum, After lunch we will have time to explore the island and take amazing 360 degree photos from the top.

We will continue with the tour of the salt until we can observe a sunset, the most beautiful sunset you can see. Return to the city of La Paz

DAY 6: BUS LA PAZ - COPACABANA - PUNO.

After breakfast, we will board the bus to Puno, during the journey we will cross the Strait of Tiquina, the bus in a Ferry and the people in a boat, later we will arrive to Copacabana, at approximately 12:00 m, where we do change of mobility and you can have lunch and later we will continue the route towards the Kasani border (immigration control post) where you must present your ID or Passport in the migration office of both countries for control and verification.

After two and a half hours of travel from Kasani, we will arrive in Puno at 4:30 p.m.

DAY 7: PUNO - SILLUSTANI - JULIACA AIRPORT.

This day we have to say goodbye, but first we will make a special and highly recommended tour, Sillustani tour. our mobility and guide will pick you up from your hotel, then we will go to the chullpas of Sillustani, once in the archaeological complex, we will walk approximately 30 minutes uphill until we reach the funeral towers.

 At the top of the complex, our guide will explain in detail about the place and you can see the different pre-Inca and Inca ruins, as well as contemplate the beautiful landscapes and the view of the Umayo lagoon that surrounds the funerary chullpas. We will continue with our trip to the airport.
