ITINERARY
If you're in La Paz, you have the chance to visit Tiahuanaco on this shared tour.
At 8:00 a.m., our guide and transportation will pick you up from your hotel in La Paz. The drive to Tiahuanaco is about 72 km via paved road, offering scenic views of the Bolivian altiplano.
Once we arrive, we'll start with a visit to the Lytic and Ceramic Museum, where you’ll see artifacts and pieces from the Tiahuanaco culture.
Next, we’ll explore the Tiahuanaco archaeological site, where you’ll see the main ceremonial centers. The tour, which lasts around 2.5 hours, includes highlights like the Akapana Pyramid, the Semi-Subterranean Temple, and the Gateway of the Sun.
