ITINERARY
We start at 8:00 a.m. with pick-up from your hotel in La Paz. Our guide and private transportation will take you to Tiahuanaco, where you’ll explore the Gate of the Sun, the Stone Museum, the Akapana Pyramids, and other key sites like the Semi-Subterranean Temple, Keri Cala, Putuni, Laka Kollu, and Wila Pukara. This is a great chance to dive into the history of one of South America’s oldest civilizations. After the visit, there will be some free time for lunch.
Next, we’ll head to the Peru-Bolivia border for the immigration process on both sides, which usually takes about 30 minutes, before continuing our journey into Peru.
Our next stop is Aramu Muru, also known as Hayu Marca, famous for its “interdimensional door” and the stone forest. You’ll have a short walk to explore the area and take photos, surrounded by an intriguing mix of history and nature.
Afterwards, we’ll visit Chucuito, home to the Temple of Fertility “Inca Uyo” and the Main Plaza, perfect for a relaxing stroll and to enjoy the local atmosphere. Finally, after about 30 minutes of travel, we’ll arrive in Puno around 7:00 p.m., where you’ll be transferred to your hotel to rest after a full day of culture, history, and breathtaking scenery.
