ITINERARY
Day 1: Uros Floating Islands – Amantaní Island Tour
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Puno (7:40–8:00 a.m.), followed by a scenic boat ride to the Uros Floating Islands, an extraordinary archipelago entirely made of totora reeds.
Discover how this ancient community builds its islands, homes, and boats, preserving a self-sufficient and eco-friendly lifestyle in perfect harmony with the lake.
Continue your journey across the vast blue waters of Lake Titicaca toward Amantaní Island, a place where no cars or paved roads, yet full of peace, tradition, and Andean spirituality. Here, you’ll be welcomed by a local family, share cozy accommodations, enjoy a homemade lunch prepared with organic ingredients, and experience moments that reflect the authentic community life of the Andes.
In the afternoon, hike up to the pre-Inca temple of Pachatata, where you’ll witness a magical sunset over the lake and its sacred mountains (apus).
As night falls, join a cultural evening filled with music, traditional dances, and colorful attire, celebrating the living heritage of Amantaní beneath a sky full of stars.
Day 2: Amantani Island – Taquile Island (Living Culture in the Heart of Lake Titicaca)
Wake up to the song of Andean birds and enjoy a traditional breakfast lovingly prepared by your host family. After expressing your gratitude for their warm hospitality, you’ll board the boat to Taquile Island, a true gem of Lake Titicaca, home to one of the most renowned textile traditions in the world.
Take a scenic walk through ancient agricultural terraces to a strategic viewpoint, where you’ll witness local artisans skillfully weaving hats, belts, and chullos—each design carrying its own meaning that reflects marital status, age, and social role within the community. On Taquile Island, weaving is more than an art form—it’s a living cultural language.
Before returning, enjoy a typical Andean lunch with breathtaking views of Lake Titicaca, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. In the afternoon, you’ll sail back to Puno, arriving at around 3:30 p.m.

"Good service"
We requested two tours for Colca canyon and Uros Floating Islands in Titicaca Lake. Because it was our first time dealing with high altitudes, we were feeling pretty sick and Inca's Paradise without any extra fee agreed to postpone our second tour until we got better. We really appreciated what they have done for us! Even more, Gumercinda helped us to find some hotels around the area. We had a lovely and safe trip :) Leer Más...
