PRIVATE FULL DAY TOUR AMANATANI, TAQUILE AND UROS FLOATING

The tour begins early, around 5:45 a.m., when our guide will promptly pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to the port of Puno. From there, you will set sail on a boat to Amantani Island. Upon arrival, you will take a hike to the Apu Coanos sanctuary, an important Inca ceremonial center dedicated to ancestral Andean rituals, where you can appreciate the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the region.

Next, we continue to Taquile Island, where you will enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant, perfect for recharging while admiring the natural surroundings. Afterwards, you’ll explore the artisan market, where you can admire handwoven textile pieces crafted by island inhabitants, renowned for their detailed work and cultural symbolism.

The itinerary also includes a visit to the Floating Islands of the Uros, a unique group of islands built from totora reeds, where you will have the opportunity to experience the ancestral way of life of this community up close. You will visit a family island to observe daily life and the main island, which serves as a service center where you can stamp a commemorative seal in your passport. Additionally, you can opt for a ride on a traditional totora reed boat, lasting approximately 15 minutes (additional cost between S/. 10.00 and S/. 15.00).

Finally, you will return to the city of Puno, where our team will be waiting to comfortably transfer you back to your hotel.
