OVERVIEW
Taquile Island, famous worldwide for its textile art, is also a place whose microclimate is favorable for agriculture, livestock, activities that make the Island an ideal place for experiential tourism and enjoyment of the scenic beauty, as well as the appreciation of textile symbology.
Amantani Island, an Island characteristic for its architectural vestiges (Pachatata and Pachamama) located almost 4,000 m.a.s.l., ceremonial centers that represent the Andean duality, an ideology on which their culture is based.
Floating Islands of Uros, are a group of family floating islands that are located between totora reeds of Lake Titicaca, and whose population practices activities such as fishing or collecting duck eggs, both for consumption and for sale.

Live a trip full of unforgettable experiences while learning about the ancient traditions that the populations of the Islands of the Lake of the Incas continue practicing.
The tour starts around 5:45 a.m., at this time our guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the port of Puno, where you will board a boat to leave for Amantani Island. At the arrive, you will take a walk to the Apu Coanos to visit Pachatata’s ceremonial center, there you will see the vestige of Inca Age dedicated to performance of Andean ancestral ceremonies.
The tour will continue towards Taquile Island. Once on the island, you will go to the local restaurant to enjoy a typical lunch. Afterwards, you will visite the craft market to appreciate the fine local textiles made by hand by men and women weavers; there, if you wish, you can buy souvenirs with symbolic designs.
Later, there will be a brief visit to the Floating Islands of Uros to visit two of these Islands. The first one is a family Island (in which you will learn about lifestyle of Uros); and the second one is the main Island (for the use of basic services or stamping in your passport a souvenir stamp). Optionally you can take a ride on a totora raft (15 min duration, additional cost between S/. 10.00 - S/. 15.00 Soles).
To end this day, you will return to the city of Puno, arriving at the port of the city around 17:30 p.m. At the port, our team will be waiting for you to transfer you back to your hotel.

- Regular boat (confortable seats, life jackets and first aid kit).
