OVERVIEW
Llachón, a small community located on Capachica peninsula, is a beautiful place on the borders of Lake Titicaca with a privileged view of it and its islands. The community's main activities are fishing, agriculture (variety of potatoes and oca), livestock (sheep and alpacas) and tourism.
Uros floating islands, are a set of artificial islands built with totora on the Holy Lake that protect a population at more than 3,812 meters above sea level.
PRIVATE FULL DAY TOUR UROS TITINO FLOATING ISLAND - LLACHON
Live an adventure aboard sailboats or kayaks in the waters of the highest navigable lake in the world while you live an authentic experience by the hand of the populations adjacent to the sacred lake.
The guide will pick up and transfer you from your hotel to the port of the city in order to board a private boat and start the tour towards Uros Titino islands, where you will receive a detailed explanation about the history, traditions and lifestyle of the population.
The next destination is the town of Llachón, where you will be welcomed by local families, who will demonstrate their activities after taste a typical local lunch. In the afternoon, you will have free time to do one of the following activities: a sailboat ride through the Holy Lake Titicaca, practice kayaking in the untamed waters of the highest navigable lake in the world or hike to the community look-out. Finally, after finish with the entertainment activities, you will return to Puno city, where our team will dropped you off at your hotel.
