ITINERARY
Explore Taquile Island, where the ancestral art of weaving comes alive in every corner, allowing you to connect with an authentic culture while enjoying breathtaking landscapes and the serenity of Lake Titicaca.
This tour offers you the freedom to choose your departure time and the length of your visit at each destination, ideal for couples, families, small groups, or anyone seeking exclusive attention and a unique experience (we recommend starting between 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.).
At the agreed time, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the port of Puno, where you'll board a boat headed to your preferred destination: the Floating Islands of Uros or Taquile Island.
On Taquile Island, you'll explore the artisanal market, where you'll enjoy an interactive demonstration of the symbolism found in traditional clothing, such as chullos and calendar belts.
Then, you will continue to the Floating Islands of Uros, where you will visit two main islands: a family island and the capital island. There you will learn about their customs, traditions, activities, and the techniques used to build the artificial islands and the impressive totora reed rafts. You will also have the option to take a short ride on the totora rafts, an optional experience with an additional cost between S/. 10.00 and S/. 15.00 Soles.
This itinerary offers a genuine cultural immersion and the chance to create unforgettable memories through direct contact with the highland traditions.
