ITINERARY
DAY 1: AIRPORT – SILLUSTANI – PARAMIS BIKE EXPERIENCE
08:00 a.m. Welcome reception at Inca Manco Cápac International Airport in Juliaca and transfer to the impressive Sillustani Chullpas.
Upon arrival, we will take a guided walk through the Sillustani Archaeological Complex, home to remarkable pre-Inca and Inca funerary towers built facing east. During the visit, your guide will share insights about this ancient necropolis while you enjoy panoramic views of Laguna Umayo.
Along the way, we will stop at local rural homes and traditional farms, where you can observe daily life, including handicrafts, Andean products, and South American camelids with time for photos.
We then continue toward the Paramis Peninsula. In Capachica, we will enjoy an Andean box lunch before starting an exciting downhill biking experience in Puno to Paramis, riding along scenic trails surrounded by spectacular highland landscapes and passing through local communities.
Upon arrival, local families will welcome us with a traditional meal prepared with fresh local ingredients. Afterward, accommodation in assigned rooms and free time to relax, enjoy the lake views, and connect with the peaceful natural surroundings.
DAY 2: PARAMIS – KAYAK ON LAKE TITICACA – AMANTANÍ ISLAND
We begin the day witnessing one of the most beautiful sunrises in the Andean highlands, a powerful and energizing moment overlooking Lake Titicaca.
Afterward, we enjoy a traditional breakfast by the lakeshore and prepare for a truly unique experience: kayaking on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world (3,812 m / 12,507 ft). Paddling across its crystal-clear waters beneath an endless blue sky is an unforgettable adventure. At the end of the activity, we will share some traditional Andean snacks before continuing to our next destination.
Later, we head to Amantaní Island, where local families warmly welcome us and accompany us to our assigned homestay. There, we will enjoy a traditional lunch prepared with fresh local ingredients.
In the afternoon, around 4:00 p.m., we hike to the ceremonial center of Pachatata Temple, from where we can admire breathtaking views of Lake Titicaca, the Andean mountain range, and a spectacular sunset. Afterward, we return to the homestay for dinner and rest.
In the evening, you may optionally participate in a traditional cultural show organized by the families, sharing music and local dances in an authentic cultural exchange experience.
DAY 3: AMANTANÍ ISLAND – TAQUILE ISLAND – UROS FLOATING ISLANDS – PUNO
After breakfast and a heartfelt farewell to our hosts, we depart by boat toward Taquile Island, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful islands on Lake Titicaca.
Upon arrival, we hike uphill to the main square, where we are rewarded with breathtaking views of the legendary Sacred Lake of the Incas. During the visit, we explore its renowned handicraft market and enjoy a traditional lunch prepared with fresh local ingredients.
Later, we continue to the famous Uros Floating Islands, entirely built from totora reeds. Here, you will learn about their history, ancestral traditions, and the unique techniques used to construct their floating islands and homes. Optionally, you may take a ride on a traditional reed boat (additional cost of 10.00 soles).

DAY 4: LAMPA, PUCARÁ AND JULIACA AIRPORT
Discover the cultural and scenic essence of the Andean highlands in an experience that blends history, living traditions, and breathtaking landscapes in Puno, Peru.
The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Puno and transfer to Lampa, known as the “Pink City” due to the distinctive tone of its colonial buildings. This charming Andean town, with its quiet streets and historic architecture, preserves a legacy that surprises every visitor. We visit the majestic Santiago Apóstol Church, home to a unique ossuary and a replica of Michelangelo’s Pietà, an unexpected artistic treasure in the heart of the highlands that makes this stop a truly memorable cultural experience.
We then continue to Pucará, observing along the way the impressive Puya de Raymondi, an iconic Andean plant that can grow up to 10 meters tall. In Pucará, we explore the Pucará Archaeological Complex and the Lithic Museum, which reveal the legacy of the ancient Pukara culture and its Andean worldview. We also participate in a hands on workshop where we paint traditional Toritos de Pucará, one of the most representative handicrafts of the region.
Finally, transfer to Juliaca Airport for your departure flight. End of our services.
