ITINERARY
Immerse yourself in a setting rich with history around Lake Titicaca, where every moment connects you to the authentic essence of the Andean highlands.
The experience begins with a personalized transfer from your hotel and an exciting speedboat ride, from where you can admire the breathtaking panoramas of the lake. On Taquile Island, you’ll have the opportunity to discover its renowned textile art and enjoy a peaceful walk along trails with spectacular views, in an atmosphere of exclusivity, as the island is practically yours to explore, thanks to visiting at a special time with fewer tourists.
Next, we head to Luquina, a remote and charming peninsula, where a gourmet Andean buffet lunch awaits. Each dish is inspired by traditional cuisine and prepared with fresh regional ingredients, ensuring an authentic culinary experience.
Afterwards, we visit the Uros floating islands, unique islands built entirely from totora reeds. Here, you’ll learn about their history, their distinctive way of life, and the ancestral techniques used to construct both the islands and their homes. Optionally, you can complement the experience with a totora reed boat ride, handcrafted by the local inhabitants (activity available at an additional cost).
The tour concludes with the return to the city of Puno and hotel transfer.
