ITINERARY
Embark on an immersive journey through history, tracing the path from conquest to independence in the renowned City of Royal Treasuries.
The tour will begin with your guide picking you up from your hotel to depart for Chucuito. Upon arrival, you will visit the Fertility Temple, also known as Inca Uyo, a site featuring rudimentary phallic stone carvings.
Next, you will head to the main square, where the Sundial, the 16th-century Nuestra Señora de la Asunción Church, and the Santo Domingo Church are located. At each stop, the guide will provide explanations about the history, architecture, and other relevant details.
Afterward, you will walk to the Chucuito lookout, where, if you wish, you can browse and purchase handicrafts made from alpaca fiber, as well as traditional Andean symbolic objects.
Finally, you will return to the city of Puno, where our team will transfer you back to your hotel, concluding this enriching cultural tour.
