ITINERARY
At 6:15 a.m., we begin the journey with hotel pickup in Puno. More than just a transfer to Bolivia, this experience is designed for travelers seeking to discover the spiritual, historical, and cultural essence of the Andes, along a route filled with emotion, mystery, and adventure.
Our first stop is the traditional town of Chucuito, one of the most authentic colonial corners of the Peruvian highlands, where we will visit the legendary Temple of Fertility – Inca Uyo, an ancient ceremonial site surrounded by symbolism, legends, and ancestral traditions. Among historic streets and quiet plazas, Chucuito preserves an atmosphere that connects the Andean past with the living identity of its people.
The adventure continues to one of the most fascinating and enigmatic places in the southern Andes: Aramu Muru, also known as Hayu Marca. Surrounded by rock formations and ancestral energy, this mysterious stone-carved portal has inspired stories for centuries about hidden dimensions and ancient civilizations.
During the visit, we will take a light hike through the stone forest surrounding the area, while the guide shares stories about Andean spirituality and the secrets of this site, considered one of the most powerful energy places along the route.
Later, we will reach the Desaguadero border, where we will complete the immigration procedures between Peru and Bolivia, continuing through the vast highland plains of Bolivia toward the impressive archaeological complex of Tiwanaku, considered one of the most important ceremonial centers in South America and the cradle of one of the continent’s most influential civilizations.
After enjoying a typical Andean lunch, we will begin a guided visit to its most iconic structures: the majestic Gateway of the Sun, the Akapana pyramid, the Semi-Subterranean Temple, the Lithic Museum, and ancient ceremonial spaces that still preserve an indescribable energy.
Every step in Tiahuanaco reveals astronomical knowledge, monumental architecture, and a deep connection with the universe, transporting us to a time when Andean cultures reached their greatest splendor.
Finally, we continue the journey to La Paz. The tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.
